As you all know the month of August is the Month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. There are two important Feasts to celebrate in this month: On August, Thursday 6th we celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord at the Church in Wageningen at 18.30 and On August, Friday 14th, the Feast of the Assumption at Catholic Church in Renkum at 7pm.
This month the International Catholic Community will participate as every year in the AID information market on Wednesday, August 19th at the Arboretum Belmonte to welcome the new students of the University of Wageningen. Those who should like to participate in this information market can send an email to wageningen.icc@gmail.com or info@iccwageningen.nl. We will really appreciate support. We need students from different continents. You may choose how long you like to stay there. The information markt starts at 12.00 and ends at 16:30 h.
On the other hand, each of you is also an ambassador of the International Catholic Community of the parish of Wageningen for the new students you may meet at the campus of the University or somewhere else. In the past we have heard from some international students in Wageningen that it was not so easy for some students to find direct information about Catholic Masses in Wageningen. Therefore we will appreciate very much if you would help us to reach more students who are Catholic or who are searching for God. if you can invite some new students to assist to the English Masses or to tell them more aboutthe activities of the ICC.
