HelpSome announcements that cannot wait until the sending of the Holy Mass Schedule of September... The latter will be sent to you within a week; my apologies for the inconvenience. We need your HELP:

Wageningen Parish Day, September 11, 10 am: Additional information

As mentioned before, Sunday September 11 will be the ónly Sunday of the year without a Holy Mass at 12:30. Instead, there will be a very special Holy Mass at 10:00 for the whole Wageningen (and thus also International) catholic community. The Mass will be a mixed Dutch/English Mass. After the Mass we continue the celebration at the square in front of the church (if the weather is fine), where world music will be played, and where there will be drinks and food. Of course we cannot do this (Mass and party) without your help;

  • If you'd like to prepare some food from your country, you're welcome! You can deliver it before 10:00 am in the Verrijzeniszaal on that day.
  • If you'd like to join the special choir for that day, you're welcome! Rehearsals will be at 8 pm on Wednesday August 31 and Wednesday September 7 (in Church).
  • It would be nice when you could wear your traditional clothing on that day
  • Perhaps you can help us to pray to St. Clare for good weather on that day?

It will be a very promising day/afternoon, so keep this date free in your diary! You will not regret.

New students

Many new students have arrived in Wageningen. We kindly ask you all to be a missionary, i.e., to introduce the ICC to the new students, and to make them feel at home at our parish. Since a week, two ICC-bannesr are visible at our church again. A banner will not be enough, however, since it does not show anybody around: enthousiastic, inspiring words of an experienced ICC member is so much more informative and comforting! Thank you in advance for your help.

Volunteers

We can always use volunteers; for doing the readings, helping with the offertory, helping with the coffee/tea, joining one of our choirs, etcetera. If you want to be a volunteer, don't be shy; feel free to ask where you can help.
