We had some beautiful sunny days, but coming week the temperature will be much lower. Perhaps it will give you the opportunity to 'visit' some of the beautiful churches of our parish, by watching the recordings of the Dutch Holy Mass: Last week, May 3, the Holy Mass has been recorded in our church in Rhenen, the "Memorial church", and May 10, the Holy Mass has been recorded in our church in Renkum, the "Our Lady of Assumption church".

May, the month of Mother Mary has begun! Spring has arrived, we enjoyed our first sunny days, our king is now a year older (since April 27), the rhododendrons/ azaleas are blooming (in the Arboretum; worthwhile to visit!), and so are our live streamed Masses and moments for Adoration!

Easter, also called Pascha or Resurrection Sunday,is the festival where we commemorate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day after his burial following his crucifixion. It is the culmination of the Passion of Jesus, preceded by Lent (or Great Lent), a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance.

Filming the Holy Masses has made a great evolutionary step: From now on, you can follow several activities live on the new facebookpage of our Parish: Parish facebook page, starting with this evening (White Thursday, at 19:00 PM). English translations will be available.
