Palm Sunday is our Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in each of the four canonical Gospels. Palm Sunday marks the first day of Holy Week, the last week of the Christian solemn season of Lent that precedes the arrival of Eastertide.
A recording has been made of the Holy Mass of March 24, 2020. This is the Mass of the Sollemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord to the H. Virgin Mary. On the 25th of March, nine months before Christmas, the Church celebrates the Sollemn Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord to the Holy Virgin Mary. In the dark times in which the people of God then lived, God gave hope to His people by the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary. Let us pray with Mary for hope and strength in these times.
